The reindeer and their herders are the original dwellers of Lapland – Sápmi (Sámi homeland). Sámi people and their trusty companions have lived in Inari region as long as it’s been free of ice – possibly more than 9000 years. Just think how many northern light seasons is that!
We invite you to join our reindeer tours in Saariselkä. During the safari, you will meet Sámi herder and you’ll learn a lot from their way of life and the reindeer themselves. You will experience a reindeer ride on a sleigh and have a chance to feed our furry friends straight from your hand.
